Requests for an acute prescription should be made after 10am. either by telephone or at the front desk.

The receptionist will take the patient’s details, the symptoms and the reason for the request and any history of allergy.

The doctor will view these requests at the end of the morning surgery, before the evening surgery and after the evening surgery.

A telephone number will be on file, and if more information is required, he can contact the patient. A prescription and advice, or advice only, will be given. This might include the need to see the patient.

The prescription, and or advice, will be available between 12.30pm - 1.00 pm and 5.15 – 5.30 pm.

Requests For A Repeat Prescription

Requests for repeat prescription must be made after 10am. and at least twenty-four hours before the script can be collected. The prescription will be available the Next Working Day.

The request can be made in person at the front desk, by telephone or in writing (by including a stamped addressed envelope). 

  • The doctors will sign the scripts between 12.15pm - 12.30pm.
  • Prescriptions should be collected between 3pm - 5.30pm.
