blue_yellowRequests for an Acute Prescription

Requests for an acute prescription should be made after 9.30am  by telephone.

The receptionist will take the patient’s details, the symptoms and the reason for the request and any history of allergy.

The doctor will view these requests at the end of the morning surgery, before the evening surgery and after the evening surgery.

A telephone number will be on file, and if more information is required, he can contact the patient. A prescription and advice, or advice only, will be given. This might include the need to see the patient.

Requests For A Repeat Prescription

Requests for repeat prescription must be made after 9.30am. and at least twenty-four hours before the script can be collected.

The request can be made by telephone, or in  writing (by including a stamped addressed envelope) or by online.  Please contact reception to find out details on how to register.

  • The doctors will sign the scripts between 12.15pm - 12.30pm.
  • Prescriptions should be collected between 3pm - 5.30pm.
